Speak to your GP and ask for a referral to a heart specialist if required.

Contact us for an appointment as soon as possible. Please make sure you advise the Receptionist if your referral is for a consultation or a specific test.

A copy of the referral letter from your GP is essential, a list of your medications and dosage is also helpful. New patients should also bring their current Medicare card, any other relevant medical records and results. Your GP can advise you.

The cardiologist will refer the test/s that you may require at your initial consultation. The tests that you need will depend on your individual symptoms and health concerns.

Our Receptionist will be happy to book the required tests for you at the end of your consultation. We can also assist with booking offsite tests where possible.

For any of our onsite tests, you may eat and go about your normal activities unless otherwise informed. You will need to wear comfortable clothing. You should dress in an outfit which allows you to undress to the waist. You will be required to remove your top, but you will be given a surgical gown to wear throughout all the procedures. Certain medications might need to be avoided prior to your Stress Echo, however, your Cardiologist will inform you if required.
